Aspiring physician committed to serving with compassionate care.
I’m a Health and Human Sciences student at the University of Southern California on a pre-med track, with a long-term goal of becoming a physician. Through years of volunteering in healthcare settings, I’ve developed a passion for supporting individuals with empathy and compassion while gaining firsthand insight into clinical environments. I am determined to help others create a future defined by growth and perseverance rather than adversity.
As President of the Providence Mission Hospital Auxiliary, I led over 200 student volunteers across multiple departments while guiding a 17-member executive board. I managed recruitment and interviews for new cohorts, organized General Hospital Orientation, and collaborated directly with hospital leadership to implement new policies and improve volunteer operations. I also helped onboard and train large groups of volunteers to address staffing needs, supported hospital-wide service initiatives for underserved families, and worked to expand opportunities such as physician shadowing. Through this role, I developed strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills while contributing meaningfully to patient care environments.
In addition to my leadership role, I gained hands-on clinical experience in both the Emergency Department and Surgical Services. I assisted with patient comfort needs, prepared lab samples, restocked supplies, and supported care teams in maintaining efficient workflows. I also contributed to infection prevention efforts and helped improve patient experiences, including initiatives focused on pediatric care. These experiences deepened my understanding of patient-centered care and solidified my commitment to pursuing medicine.
I am currently seeking opportunities in clinical, research, and community health settings where I can continue to grow as a future physician and make a meaningful impact.
